01-03-2018In 2013, almost 2 million people in the US visit their doctors because of a rotator cuff problem. Rotator Cuff Tear is the common cause of pain and disability among adults. Your shoulder can be weakened by a torn rotator cuff which turns many daily activities, like dressing, combing hair painful and difficult to do.

The rotator cuff is the most important muscle group of the shoulder. It is responsible for smooth movements of the shoulder joint, particularly elevation & rotations. The rotator cuff tendons cover the head of the humerus, helping you to raise and rotate your arm. When one or more of the rotator cuff tendons is torn, the tendon no longer fully attaches to the head of the humerus, and it will affect the shoulder movements.
